Rock Hard Weekend RECALLED

November 18, 2009

“Ruh roh…”

Well this explains a thing or two!

Rock Hard Weekend has recently had several batches recalled!

November 9, 2009 – Atlanta, GA – RockHard Laboratories announced today that it is conducting a voluntary nationwide recall of the company’s dietary supplement sold under the name RockHard Weekend (RHW) specific to the following Lot Numbers:Blister Pack: T12 705 08 (exp: 10/11) / T12 705 09 (exp: 3/12, 8/12)
3ct Bottle: R417 0509 (exp: 09/12)
8ct Bottle: T237-0509 (exp: 06/12)

Rock Hard Weekend, reviewed here by me upon initial release, has caused people (including myself) some pretty intense side effects.

“FDA laboratory testing determined that some RockHard Weekend packages contain sulfoaildenfil, which is related to Sildenfil, the active ingredient in FDA-approved erectile dysfunction drugs.

The undeclared use of the drug ingredient in the recalled supplements may pose a risk of death or injury to users who take nitrates and prescription medications, such as nitroglycerin, for high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, and other conditions, the FDA said.

Negative interaction between sulfoaildenfil and nitrates could result in life-threatening drops in blood pressure, officials said. RockHard Laboratories said one of the raw ingredients imported from China was tainted with sulfoaildenfil, causing the product contamination.”

I still stand by Boost Ultra as being your best bet when it comes to over the counter male sexual enhancement pills!  Regardless, all supplements affect different people in different ways, and you should always consult a doctor before taking anything out of the ordinary.

As always it is my goal to keep you folks in the know.  Be careful and please e-mail me at mebrandonb@gmail.com if you ever have any questions or concerns about any product!

Boost Ultra Review

November 10, 2009

boostultraI am always wary when I am asked to test sexual stimulants.  The side effects usually outweigh the benefit of the pill in question.  Stiff Nights worked well but resulted in some awful heartburn the day after.  Rock Hard Weekend also worked well, but I and many others have reported intense headaches that linger a day or sometimes more.  A rep from Boost Ultra contacted me praising his sexual stimulant and asked me to give it a try.  I did so on a night where I didn’t have a date to worry about and didn’t have anything to do the next day just in case there were side effects.  Needless to say, I expected the worst but hoped for the best… So does Boost Ultra work?  Let’s find out!

Good Clean Love Review

November 9, 2009

goodcleanloveI’ve been big on finding the best lube to not only jerk-off with but to also give head with.  Lots of lubes out there have a nasty taste to them and/or don’t last a long time.  I’ve been on a bit of a health kick so I’ve been looking into more organic products all around, and Good Clean Love makes a lube that is just that.  How does it hold up against a furious masturbation session though?  Let’s find out!

Sliquid Organics Gel Lube Review

October 28, 2009

sliquid_org_gelI was having a conversation with a customer yesterday about oral sex.  On the heels of my glowing review of Kama Sutra’s Pleasure Balm, I was all about talking to him about how great it is.  The conversation swung to the topic of lube (he was looking for a good water base to use with his new silicone toy) and I mentioned Sassy.  I also mentioned how it’s great for jerking off as well as for giving head.  He was confused.  “Why would you use lube to give head?”  Sigh.  I spoke with him about the benefits of using lube for blowing someone and showed him the bottle.  He couldn’t get around the design on the bottle (a girl, pink, blah blah blah) so I showed him Sassy’s sister, Sliquid Organics Gel.  He said “How does this compare to the Sassy one?” and I said “Come back tomorrow and I will let you know!”

Kama Sutra Pleasure Balm Review

October 25, 2009

kamasutra_stimulatinggel_2Once people find the lube(s) they like and they get the “basics” of playing with toys down they often come to me asking for some extra goodies to make their play time fresh, either with a partner or alone.  My default is to suggest merchandise from the Kama Sutra company because I enjoy their quality, as well as their flair for packaging their products.  I have had the chance to play with Kama Sutra’s Pleasure Balm both with partners and by myself, and so I decided to toss up a review for anyone interested in adding a little kick to their sex!

Recycle Thy Dongs

August 20, 2009

recycleWell I am moving at the end of this month and that means lots of things.  Packing up my computer and desk, wrapping my mattress to protect from the hands of filthy movers, and of course tossing old sex toys, or as I like to refer to it; Culling the Weak.

As you’ve read here, there are a number of toys that I did not like, and they are literally collecting dust in an unattractive manner.  I will never use these beasts again.  So what do I do with them?  Toss them out in the garbage?  No!  We live in the age of Going-Green, and so of course I will be recycling my old sex toys.

The Sex Toy Recycling Program is a not-for-profit program that allows people to ship out their old, broken, boring sex toys.  When received, they will recycle these sad little marauders in an eco-friendly manner.  90% of the items they receive are recycled by material specific recycling centers.  Excellent!

For information on how to recycle your sex toys, please visit their website.  For every package of sex toys you send them you receive a $10 gift card to use with their affiliates.  Nice!

ID Pleasure

July 21, 2009

id_pleasureAhhh, another day another lubricant to try.  Sometimes I avoid certain lubes because I can tell they are going to be awful.  The ID brand is a brand that I typically don’t recommend to people because it just always feels so cheap between my finger tips.  I like thick, long lasting lubricants, and ID always feels so thin.  Well someone came in a few months back wanting to return ID Pleasure because — he claimed — it burned him.  Yes, down THERE.  I decided that I needed to test this lube to see what could potentially cause a burning sensation and to see if it was even worth my recommendation in the future.

Maximus Review

July 13, 2009

MaximusAfter my more than glowing review of Sassy, I had someone ask me about the semi-popular Maximus lube.  It is typically referenced as “the lube with the Greek pillars on it” because the bottle literally has some funky Greco-Roman artwork on it.  I had never given it a try before and being the civil servant that I am promised to give it a go.  So the other day at work I picked some up and brought it home with me to my bordello of sin!

Sassy

July 3, 2009

sassyAfter the recent success of Snake Oil, I was excited to continue trying out other lubes to see if there were any that could get all the elements I enjoy all together.  Snake Oil felt great, but it was really really drippy, and I really like thicker lubes.  That’s why I picked up Sassy by Sliquid.  The tester demonstrated that the lube was on the thicker side, but it was a water base.  It felt good on my fingers so I decided to put it on other body parts.  Let’s see how sassy it really is!

Snake Oil

June 30, 2009

snakeoilEven when you feel like you have found your favorite lube out there, another lube comes along that makes you pause to consider the other options available to you.  When I first heard about Snake Oil, I was intrigued.  If not by the fact that it was an oil based lubricant that claimed to be latex friendly, then by the really really really ugly bottle.  After passing over it time after time, I decided that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover…and I’m so glad that I didn’t!
