Recently people have decided that I am photogenic and have been coming out of the woodwork pointing their cameras at me. If these people could see how I look first thing in the morning they might be singing a different tune. Lately I have been so busy that my body is afraid to sleep, so every morning is a comical series of me violently jolting up in bed and scrambling to check the time, convinced that I have overslept for something. This on top of what has become a concerning habit of drooling on my pillow leaves something to be desired in a photograph (although…)

Despite that, people are falling for the illusion that I am a somewhat put together sex symbol. One such person who has fallen for this lie is Justin Violini of The Fearless Project.

Last night I stayed up late chatting online with boner-fuel Good Goose about various things including how Busta Rhymes is obviously gay and how the song Break Ya Neck is clearly about giving a blazing blow-job (at the 2:30 mark tell me that isn’t a metaphor for “I give amazing heart-stopping head!”, and by metaphor I mean I’m pretty sure he’s on Team Taylor). While we were winding down this conversation road questioning our life decisions, I got an exciting e-mail.

Yours truly has been selected as one of the sexy models for the 2011 New York Sex Bloggers Calendar. If you saw what I was wearing when I read the e-mail you’d wonder why (see: black CK briefs with a hole in the back, a sock in my lap, hair up in wraps), but luckily the people who do the Sex Blogger calendar only ever see my botox-filled surrogate.

I’m super excited, for a number of reasons. For starters, I have been dying to see some man-flesh in the calendar since it started and I am one of several bi-o-log-i-cal studly dudes posing this year! A researcher from the University of Virginia Department of Psychology is conducting a web-based study of engaged same-sex and different-sex couples and they asked me to reach out to all of you!  The study has been approved by the University of Virginia Institutional Review Board, which ensures ethical research conduct.
