Pandora Review

pandoraDating in New York is…unique.  The people here can often be too simple, wasting their lives away in a flurry of well drink specials and American Apparel.  Other people can be too complex, talking down to you sharply and judging you at face value before you can even introduce yourself (you can drop the attitude, NYU does not a legacy make).  Sex toys can be the same way, and finding the perfect middle ground can sometimes be a challenge.  And yes I did just compare boys to toys.  When I saw Pandora I snatched it up to review and was thinking that maybe I had found the coveted happy medium B.O.B. (Battery Operated Boyfriend).  I’ve been wrong before though…

Pandora is part of the Adventure Series by Vibratex, creators of the infamous Rabbit.  All Vibratex toys are made with high quality Japanese motor parts and usually made of materials that are better for your body than the run of the mill jelly-rubber.  The Pandora follows suit, being made out of high quality silicone.

One of the things I liked about the Pandora was the marketing.  Most toys label themselves as G-spot toys or maybe G-spot and P-Spot toys in that order.  Pandora is one of the only toys out there that is marketed as a P-Spot or G-Spot toy.  Finally the boys are first in line!  Suck on them apples, vag-holders!

I kid of course, love for all.  But it is nice to see the boys getting a little respect in the industry since most everything is marketed to women!

Pandora is not just a plug, it’s also a vibrator.  At the base of the toy is a button that allows you to cycle through the toys 7 different functions.  These functions include different strengths of vibration as well as different waves and pulses.  Vibrations against the prostate gland can make for some pretty intense orgasms!

Sadly though, Pandora kinda misses the mark if left on it’s own.  The vibrations are plenty strong, however I never felt like it was on my p-spot.  In fact it felt like it was in too far, making the internal vibes semi useless.  The external portion felt nice vibing on my taint, but other than that I had to use my hand to move this thing down a bit so that I could feel it.  Even then, the design made it hard to maneuver and ultimately it was clear to me that this toy might be fun to use with someone else, but alone it’s really only good for those who are looking for a mild introduction to anal plugs and vibration.  Great for beginners, but you seasoned butt-veterans may find this a little ho-hum.

If you like a long finger up your butt and want to experiment with some vibration, give it a try!  They’re about $40, which is just shy of what it would cost you to upgrade to an Aneros.  Just sayin’!

Pandora can now be purchased from our discreet online store at SexToyFun!  It is also currently being carried here in New York at The Pleasure Chest. Don’t forget your coupon!
