After my more than glowing review of Sassy, I had someone ask me about the semi-popular Maximus lube. It is typically referenced as “the lube with the Greek pillars on it” because the bottle literally has some funky Greco-Roman artwork on it. I had never given it a try before and being the civil servant that I am promised to give it a go. So the other day at work I picked some up and brought it home with me to my bordello of sin!
Maximus is a very unique lube for several reasons. For starters it has a high glycol content which helps retain any naturally occuring moisture and makes the lubricant even longer lasting. It’s also formulated to be bio-static, which means it will stop any bacteria or fungal spores that it make contact with from spreading. Maximus feels nice and smooth on your dick and has the same pillowy-layer of cushion that Sassy has. Having it on, in and around your ass also feels great. When they say that this lube is long lasting they aren’t kidding around — I only had to apply this once to either part of my body and it was good to go for the entire time!
I did accidentally get a taste of it at one point, and it’s a good thing I did. This lube tastes like Satan’s ass. It has this weird semi-stinging/tingling sensation that strikes your tongue. I really like to use lube when I give head and so I really wouldn’t suggest throwing any of this on there for that, nor for when you eat ass. If I am sucking on you I want to taste it, not regret it.
However, as I said it lasts a long long time and works great for jerking off, anal toys and anal sex. Some people might find that they want an even more slippery feel to their lube though, in which case I’d show them the way to a silicone base that I love, however for $18 you really should give this guy a try!

I totally agree with the review though, maximus is great but has a lot of room for improvement. I have been a big fan of Gun Oil recently, whuch us silicone based, but Maximus always washed out of my sheets better…
