Being tied down or restrained in a way to where you cannot move is one of the ultimate forms of submission. Being restrained can be so exciting and sexy! It really isn’t a mystery why, especially after we talked about the benefits of being blindfolded. There is also something very sweet and sensual about letting someone tie you down.

We have come a long way from hand cuffs, but I will include them along with several other options for restraints on the market today:
Your standard run of the mill handcuff comes in a variety of shapes and types. These typically will have a traditional metal key, sometimes will double lock, and sometimes will have a safety release. If they don’t have a safety release, I also suggest keeping an extra keep stored somewhere safe in your room. Mine is actually hanging on a nail attached to a cut handcuff key chain! I don’t really like basic metal cuffs because they are really harsh on your wrists and ankles, but if you feel like getting bruised up then these bad boys will do it.
Furry Handcuffs come in all different colors and are basically just like basic handcuffs except they have a layer of cloth “fur” around them. These are much better for you if you have sensitive skin because they don’t leave marks or bruises but still hold firm. Most of them have safety releases too which makes getting out of them when you’re done a lot easier.
Under the bed restraints can be a lot of fun for the kinky restrainer that doesn’t own a bed with attachable framework. These four restraints adjust to any size and have long cords that run under your mattress to help use your victims weight to hold them in place. Not much utility due to the fact that they go under your bed, but they are great for what they do.
A Hog Tie kit is for the flexible critters out there. With your hands and ankles fastened firmly behind you, you are completely powerless against your partner and several restricted in movement.
A length of rope can also be a fun way to restrain a partner. Simple rope offers you a lot of utility and creativity in your restraining. They make this wonderful silk bondage rope that is easy on your skin and long enough to tangle your partner up into all sorts on chaotic positions.
