Stroke 29

Stroke29Back when I was a wee lad and first began to masturbate I didn’t use anything for lube. Well that’s not 100% true..once I tried to use some hair conditioner but that was smarter in concept than in practice as it turned out. Now that I am a big boy and it’s legal for me to buy lubes, I like to try a lot of different kinds. It’s my goal to find the right lube for the right situation, and when it comes to my special alone time, I have decided that I like Stroke 29.

From Empowered Products, Stroke 29 is an oil based lubricant intended specifically for male masturbation. This lube comes in a small blue jar which is kinda annoying since I am a big fan of squeeze bottles, but I picked it up anyway because of what it claims it can do.

Stroke 29 is named for the effects that occur after the 29th stroke you make while masturbating. It’s rare that I see lube come with instructions, but the label clearly suggests that you start out “up and down, slow and steady” and that once you reach the 29th stroke you will notice a change in the sensation as the lube takes on the “heat and glide of aroused human tissue”.

…Ew/cool.

I gave it a whirl, and for starters I have to say that although I wouldn’t say it smells bad, it is definitely not odor free as they claim. It has a slight (very slight) clay smell to it, in my opinion. Again, not a bad smell, just something that stood out. The texture was as they claimed; very think and creamy. In fact, I used too much — a little goes a long way with this stuff, which is a great thing! I did notice that the lube warmed up slightly as I was using it, and it stayed slick the entire time. Beyond slick actually; it became thicker as I used it but still slick, which I guess is the “aroused human tissue” effect they were talking about. Ultimately it felt great and I had a much better climax than I did when I was using the Herbal Essence conditioner (although I do miss the lavendar spring smell).

Like all creams that I have tried, Stroke 29 feels nice but doesn’t look pretty. By the time I was done, it looked like I had bashed my crotch into a bowl of Crisco. But hey, it felt nice and that’s what really matters. It washed off fairly easily with some mild soap and warm water, so I’d totally use it again.

Another thing I really liked about the texture of Stroke 29 versus other creams is that I could tell it would make a really nice massage cream. I love products with utility! Like it’s sister Gun Oil, it contains Vitamin E and Aloe Vera, as well as emulsifiers and carbomer which essentially help give it that nice thick but smooth texture that it manifests.

All in all I would say Stroke 29 is a great product. Just make sure you don’t use more than you need because it is kinda pricey, and please remember that it is not latex safe.
