I’m always curious about those male enhancers on the market. Obviously a lot of them are total BS, but some of them must do something, right? Well I came across Liquid V for Men several years ago at a store in Los Angeles. The next thing I knew, it was nowhere to be found. I was told it was discontinued, but that it worked very well. Well, I got some free samples of the new release of Liquid V for Men in the mail from my vendor with the following message attached: “Liquid V for Men is the most amazing product on the market today which allows a man to experience the maximum sensation during intimate activity. This product amplifies sexual pleasure for men. Fast acting, long lasting, maximum strength stimulating gel.”

I decided to put it to the test…

The first thing I look at whenever I put anything on or in my body is the ingredients. The rumor was that Liquid V for Men had an ingredient in it years ago that was not approved by the FDA and thus it was taken off the market. Whether that is true or not I don’t know, but the ingredients in this release of Liquid V for Men are as follows:

DI Water, Propylene Glycol, L-Arginine, Menthol, Cellulose Thickener, Methylparaben, Propylparaben

All of those are FDA approved and body safe for most men (some may have allergies to Menthol, which would cause an itchy or burning sensation and possibly a rash. It isn’t a common allergy though and isn’t life threatening). Parabens are common ingredients in most topical cosmetics, acting as preservatives. L-arginine is a popular ingredient in male sexual stimulants because it is believed to relax blood vessels — in this case, the muscles around the blood vessels leading to the penis, which then cause the blood vessels in the penis dilate, increasing blood flow, which helps maintain an erection. Menthol is another popular ingredient in sexual stimulants for it’s tingling properties on skin.

It was advised that you only use a little to start because a little is supposed to go a long way, which as you know I always love especially since this little guy tends to be a little on the pricey side ($18 on the low end for a 1 oz bottle). After feeling the texture of it I could tell that it would indeed go a long way so a 1 oz bottle would last a long, long time. When using this, try to remember that this is a topical cream that will absorb slightly into the skin, it’s not a lubricant and thus you don’t need to slather your dick with it.

So taking my dab of Liquid V, I massaged it into the head of the penis and the shaft as suggested. It’s recommended that you apply it several minutes prior to sexual activity, so while I waited for it to do it’s thing I start to look at some porn.

After I was satisfied that it had absorbed properly, I started to masturbate. I was already getting hard before I started which was my first sign that it was actually working.

I quickly found that I had to use a water based lubricant with this, since the gel itself got sticky pretty fast after I started stroking. With the lube applied you couldn’t notice the stickiness though so it was fine. I noticed a slight tingling sensation, but most of all I noticed a very warm feeling. The overall sensation was, in fact, more sensitive and I was really into it. After I had finished, I washed off my penis and went about my night.

Interestingly enough, for the rest of the night I was sensitive to sensation. It wasn’t jarringly so, but I found that I was popping tents left and right all around the bar. The effects lasted through the night but had worn off by morning.

So there you have it. It does indeed work, and it does feel nice! I would not recommend applying it before receiving oral sex though because it would make the person that’s doing the deed have a pretty sketched out mouth for a while (I bit the bullet for you all and put some on my tongue. Not death, but not as fun as having it on my penis). If you were going to use it before topping someone, I would say to do it in this order: apply Liquid V, let it absorb, wipe off excess after about 5 minutes, put on condom, then apply lube over condom. I’d avoid putting it between the penis and condom because that causes condoms to slip and possibly fall off, and I’d wipe the excess off just in case it causes a too-sticky sensation against the condom which might cause tears.

In conclusion, Liquid V for Men is an interesting addition to my toy box. If you’re looking for a little extra something from time to time, I’d definitely give it a try. Man..I’m going to need a bigger medicine cabinet!
