Aneros Maximus Review

I am slowly but surely reviewing every Aneros on the market, and for good reason if you’ve read any of my prior posts about them. As I mentioned in my write-up for the Progasm, I was highly anticipating great results from the Maximus model, which I recently picked up. I hate hyping things up before I try them though because then I am expecting amazing mind-boggling results from the toy, and then I am always let down when lightning doesn’t shoot out of it and it doesn’t take out the trash. So I looked at the Maximus in it’s packaging, and very neutrally introduced myself: “Hello, my name is Brandon, and you are going in my butt.”

Incidentally that is how I introduce myself on dates, too.

The Maximus is smaller than the Progasm but a little larger than the Helix. Both the Helix and the Progasm yielded nice results, but I felt myself suffering from Goldilocks Syndrome: One was too big and one was too small. Thus I set my sites on the Maximus, which looked “just right.”

Despite being larger in size than the Helix, it is still easy to insert. It’s only 1 3/4” at it’s widest point and slide in like a charm with minimal effort. I was using my favorite lube for the job as usual. Since the Maximus is made of non-porous medical grade plastic, there was no need to use a condom on it either.

Like all Aneros, the Maximus is designed to cradle and massage your prostate. The prostate is like the male version of the G-Spot, known as the P-Spot, and stimulating it through massage or vibration makes for some intense orgasms. When the Maximus is inserted you can feel it right around your P-Spot. To those of you who don’t know what that feels like, I can only describe it at the same feeling a cat must have when it hears a can of tuna open. You just know good things are about to happen!

The Maximus, however, is not for “untrained” asses. By this I mean that the way the Aneros toys work is by contracting and releasing the muscles in the anus to make the piece move hands free. The Helix is for beginners because it is of medium thickness and easier for those without developed muscles to maneuver. The Maximus being thicker, however, is harder to move right off the bat. It’s definitely a toy that needs to be worked towards, otherwise you risk being very unsatisfied with the money spent.

That being said, my ass is a champion and put the Maximus to task.

The thickness is everything I wanted from the Helix but the slimmer base is everything I was hoping for from the Progasm. Once you get your rhythm down, the Maximus is a good pleasure device.  I will say that although it does feel good, it feels a bit imbalanced at times.  I think it may be a bit top heavy, I’m not sure.  It wasn’t the easiest to use for a prostate massage, but still felt great despite that.

The Maximus is a great product and I love it. If you want girth combined with room to grow as your PC muscle develops, I’d go with the Maximus.
